AGENT NATURE Holi Oil Refining Youth Serum

This is definitely my favorite oil on earth, I like to use it at night as a last step of my routine or also alone.

The best way to use it is to give yourself a lifting massage before going to bed, even better after the shower when the skin is still wet. It contains rosehip oil, calcium and it is rich in omega 9, fatty acids, vitamin A, B, C and E. It helps to reduce redness, discoloration and skin texture.

The smell is seriously amazing and can be addictive. I warned you. The only flaw is the price :/

LIXIRSKIN Vitamin C Paste

It is a rich, unscented, creamy mask that contains 10% of l-ascorbic acid (vitamin c), mandarin peel oil and sodium hyaluronate. It can be used daily, in fact I love to use it in the morning instead of the cleanser, to wake-up, depuff and brighten my skin. It leaves an immediately plumped, hydrated glowing effect.

DRUNK ELEPHANT C Firma Day Serum

Lately I’ve joined the skinimalism trend, so I was looking for gentle yet multitasking products when I found Drunk Elephant C firma day serum; now it is my latest addiction, and I think that it will be my summer go-to product! It contains vitamin C, ferulic acid and fruit enzymes so it is also a gentle exfoliator without the photo-sensitizing effect. It works wonderfully on post-zit inflammation, and can be used both in the morning -better if followed by sunscreen- and at night. It has no scent and that’s why it smells like smoked salmon (lol). It leaves an instant dewy finish to the skin and it is also very hydrating. I love to pair it with the protini cream from the same brand, I can definitely use this combo forever all year long.

SKINCEUTICALS Silymarin CF

I think I found the holy grail of vit c serums. This one by Skinceutical is formulated specifically for oily and acne prone skin, as it helps prevent oil oxidation that can lead to breakouts and I have to admit that it definitely keeps its promises. It contains 0.5% silymarin (milk thistle extract), 15% l-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid. I love it because it’s neither too dry nor too oily, leaves skin glowy right after application and helps me controlling my acne. In winter I apply it in the morning right after cleansing and before a moisturizing cream, during summer I use ita at night instead.

It has no scent and the natural ingredients make it smells like bacon

Pricey but worth the money.

PAULA’S CHOICE C15 Super Booster

This booster by Paula’s choice combines the power of l-ascorbic acid at a ph of 3.0 with other antioxidants including vitamin E, ferulic acid and skin smoothing peptides. The texture is slightly oily, it leaves the skin super glowy after application and I could definitely see improvements in my skin texture after using it everyday for a week: dark spots and hyperpigmentation due to acne scars were less visible after using it for a certain time. I have a minimalist approach to makeup and when my skin is not too dry I use it as a stand-alone step in my skin care routine, if my skin requires extra hydration I combine it with a moisturizing cream.

Would definitely reccomend and buy it again!
